A music library like no other! Music Library 3 Just Added! After further months of relentless effort and dedication, Alan and Walter have now completed yet another catalogue to add to this outstanding collection of music held at the Brass Band Archive - Sheet Music Library No. 1 and No. 2, Score Library No. 1, Score Library No. 2, Solos with piano and Solo Albums and now the latest addition - Music Library No. 3 - another extension to the significant representation of the Brass Band Archive's treasures.

Now Available to View or  Download
The lists are downloadable as PDF documents or viewable online.  Simply select your option below and enjoy a trip down memory lane as you recognise in wonder the magnificent list of pieces (sets and scores) that are held at the archive offices.

The PDF document is searchable using Adobe Acrobat Reader (there is also a link to a free download of this should your computer not already have it loaded).  The online version of the library lists are also searchable by using the 'Find on This Page' option normally available through your internet browser.

An Historical Record
The Music Library List Nos. 1 and 2, Score Library Nos. 1 and 2 and Solos with Piano/Solo Albums are not only the beginning of a significant record of historical value, but they indicate the relentless determination the Curators have offered this project to ensure that the future of brass banding has an enviable archive history upon which to reflect.

The data that has been collected includes the library code, music title, the quantity on record, the musical form, the Composer/Arranger and the publisher.  A remarkable set of information that should be applauded in its compilation!

Just One of Many Projects
These Music and Score Libraries are only part of the major data recording projects that are being compiled.  In conjunction with the immense amount of sheet music which is being safely stored, there is also a comparable collection of recordings - 78s, 45s, LPs, Albums and CDs.  The 78 Records Library and LP Records Library have just been completed and are now available to view and download from the Recordings page.

You May Be Able To Help With Incomplete Sets
If you have any sets of music that you no longer need, you may be able to help the Brass Band Archive complete some of the sets they hold which have missing parts.  Please don't hesitate to contact Walter or Alan to discuss what you have available.

Your Own Enquiries
If you have any specific enquiries for sheet music, recordings or memorabilia, please contact either Walter or Alan, who will be pleased to help.  In the meantime, we hope you enjoy gaining access to the Music Library Lists No. 1 and No. 2 and the Score Library Lists No. 1 and No. 2 - a fascinating collection of information and an impressive legacy for the future.
